I make music that reaches into the deeper emotions that shape a life. It comes from a place in me that has known fierce love, crippling loss, crushing despair, unwavering loyalty, and the anticipation of what might still be ahead. My hope is that these songs meet people where they are — speaking to them, and sometimes even for them — with the reminder that none of us moves through these feelings entirely alone.
My sound lives in a synth-based, piano-driven pop space. It blends modern and retro instrumental elements in layered ways that support and play off each other to create a distinct soundscape. Vocally, I’m drawn to authentic, heartfelt lead performances that use dynamics and unexpected intervals to make a hook land in a memorable way, with layered harmonies and counter-melodies adding shape and lift around it.
why i do it
Music keeps calling me back because it feels like freedom. Some days it’s therapy — a place where I can examine and express what I’m feeling. Other days it’s an escape into a world with no constraints or expectations, just something evolving into existence that feels uniquely mine.
I also feel a real pull to write. Music has always spoken deeply to me, and writing feels like my way of answering back. I don’t write because I expect to change the world — I write in the hope that somewhere, a meaningful lyric, a memorable chorus, or even just the feel of a bass line might connect with another person in a real way.
And there’s nothing like the exhilaration of building something that has never existed before and discovering what it ultimately grows into. A song begins as a feeling, an idea, or a fragment, and then slowly takes on a life of its own. That feeling of not fully knowing what a song will become until it unfolds is something I’ve never found anywhere else.
what draws me in
Love is the lifeblood of my music. I return to it again and again because it’s the most dynamic force in the world. It can hold memory, devotion, longing, escape, heartbreak, and hope all at once. It can crush you — and it can make you feel like you’re floating above the clouds. It brings light and shadow, depth and electricity to the human experience. A lot has already been written about love, but that doesn’t make it any less real or any less worth writing about. What better muse could there be?
